Greetings everyone!
It seems that another week has gone by, but there is a lot of activity here with the Empire! As many of you may know, ACT III of the story has started, so it is my wish that all of you participate and complete this new part of the story. If you read the official website, you will see that the Rebels have won the past two acts on Radiant, so we need to change this! We can all help each other, and of course, there are some members, such as Sofi, who have nearly finished it already! On the note of Sofi, I wish to congratulate her on her appointment by Caiba to be the acting head of the Sovereign Guard, she will be a Second Lieutenant and will be starting the guard from the ground up. She has sent an in-game email to all members telling what she is looking for, so I would like to see heavy participation in the guard. It is an elite group, and it is quite an honor to be in it! On another positive note, Esus Nyx and Tesselia Warbuck have gotten married in the game! This is indeed great news! Esus and Tesselia have had something going for a while now, but Tesselia was involved with another relationship, so that made things a bit more challenging...But now, they have finally taken their vows and are husband and wife! Congratulations you two! Dark Hope has 99 members in the city, so we are almost at 100! The city and the ISB are looking for donations from players for funding the bases, turrets, and guild projects... Remember, you do get points and promotions for donating credits!

I would just like to remind you about the ISB training Guild, bSITH. ISB is always looking for new members to join the ranks. So if you know someone that is unguilded or would like to change guilds, email either Zabron or I, Carlyal, to set them up in the training guild. If you would like more info on bSITH, then email either Zabron, Tesselia, Esus, or I and we will try to answer any questions you have. One other thing, i am going to be working on a website for bSITH and also a new look for the ISB website after im am done with another site i am making, if you have any ideas or things you would like to see on the website let me know. you can email me at submerdged24@hotmail.com. I realize that it has been a little while since we have had any major updates, but I will say that this has been a very busy week, so please forgive me for that, but I have had a lot of work to do for this new
semester here at work!
Anyhow, talking to Tohali, we have agreed that perhaps a new point system would be good to use for promotions in the guild. Currently, it seems as if they are a bit random, and thus, some people may feel as if they are getting their toes stepped on. What do we mean by points? Well, we are going to iron out the details, but, even so, here is an idea, as stated by Tohali himself:
"I am still working out the details as to what exactly it is you gain points for. In the meantime, here are a few things I think we can start off with:
Attendance to Guild Events/Meetings
War Tactics and Participation
Outstanding Donation to Guild Treasury
Mastering a Profession
To give you an example as to how this should work, let me break it down for you. Each ISB Member (whether they be new, or more seasoned and not yet high ranking officials) start off with 0 points. For each one of the above tasks completed, they receive a certain amount of points. Once ideas become a bit more clear, we can work out just how many points members will receive for each task completed...of course more points for the most important of all tasks. When enough points are accumulated, this person qualifies for a promotion. Of course we will also need to pre-set each and every rank with a point amount, making the higher ranking positions a bit more difficult to obtain."
I intend to have all new recruits start with "0" points when this system takes full shape, and current members will start with the threshold of points for their current rank. For example, if SERGEANT MAJOR requires 500 points to obtain, and a member who has been here for a while is currently ranked as SERGEANT MAJOR, then they will begin in the system with 500 points and work from there to get 600 or whatever the requirement is set at for WARRANT OFFICER II.
We feel as if this makes the guild ranks more meaningful. Please let us know what you think and we will keep you posted, but we hope to have this implemented by the end of the week!

Well, I realize it has been a few days, but I have been a bit busy in real life what with the dawn of a new semester here and all and getting the courses ready in the department. However, things in the Galaxy will always continue whether or not I am here, so I would like to thank Esus Nyx (our Magistrate), Zackarius Zumrall, and Bobius for their hard work, especially with the Jeric'ho incident. I should mention that and then we will drop it too...He had sought a relationship with one of our members (if you know who, good, if not, don't worry about it) and became obsessed, and once he was given the ISBit, he ended up becoming power hungry and so things got out of hand. However, Esus, Zack, and Bobius handled the matter and now Tesselia is in charge of the ISBit. It is my personal feeling that things are much better now without a couple viruses in the guild. Jeric'ho was a good man, but sometimes people get out of hand. I hope he realizes this and can change, but I cannot say what he will do.
Anyhow, the city has been a target to Rebels, but they are too weak to attack our Duchy. Forces of the city have been on call wiping the
floor with the Rebel dissidents, so let us thank them! We have some major plans coming up for the guild, and so please keep updated for the latest information. For one, we plan to train everyone in PvP, Caiba's Sovereign Guard is also taking up shape, and Tohali has some plans for promotions and requirements to share with us.
We have been doing a lot of hunting, so anyone who does need XP in almost anything, let us know so you can come "gurking," etc., with us. Keep up the good work all, your hard work is appreciated, and we are working on promotions, so Esus, myself, and Bobius will discuss this to make sure it is completely fair!

We have some major news here in the ISB and the Grand Imperial Alliance! Last night, Leader Ronixus Xanatos and Moriah (his real-life wife), were married in the game at Dark Hope in the ancient gardens near the shuttle-port in a beautiful ceremony headed up by Shogun Zackarius Zumrall and Magistrate Esus Nyx, followed shortly after by a fireworks show. Then, Esus, on behalf of the members of the ISB and GIA, offered Ronixus the title of "Duke" and Moriah the title of "Lady," and the members and leaders of other guilds have showed their allegiance...Long live the Duke! more
01/10/04 - MAJOR UPDATE
A lot of things have been going on...First, I must address a rather important issue. Cammo, a Captain in the ISB, went awoll yesterday, stealing all the guild's treasury, taking a lot of items from the hall and from other players' houses that he was set as an administrator in, and then left the guild...He said he went beserk because of "personal issues" (which those that know, know, and those that don't, don't need to worry about)...He came to his senses and met some of us at Nym's Stronghold...He said he had been a Rebel spy, but that was useless drivel...He gave the money and items back, and our condition to him was to leave Lok and never return...As well as he can also never come to Dark Hope...He was reported to the CSRs, so it is very likely that his account will be removed, but we will see...Please, let us not speak of this matter anymore, but move on in a new direction...
On a positive note, we have been hunting Gurk Kings and all sorts of creatures for major XP!
In addition, we took missions on Dathomir hunting the Sister Witches, getting Force Crystals, and selling them in
Coronet for around 500,000 credits a piece! This is a GREAT way to make money, so if you want, you can come with us and please just donate 20% to the guild, that's all!
I would like to announce that Esus Nyx, the Field Captain in charge of Intelligence, has been appointed by myself to take the honorable position of Magistrate of the ISB and GIA...This position is an administrative role, serving as 2nd-in-command with Zackarius Zumrall and Bobius Doleus...Esus has been an outstanding leader, working with spies, with Wraith's Fortress, and dealing with many matters so that other players never even have to hear about them...We are going to have a special ceremony to appoint him and to recognize all the guild officers very soon, so stay tuned for details!
